These Terms & Conditions apply to the use of the Pro Scoot Limited website and the purchase of products from Pro Scoot Limited.

By placing an order through our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

 

2. Online Only Business

 

Pro Scoot Limited operates exclusively as an online retailer. We do not operate a physical shop, showroom or customer collection facility. All products must be purchased through our secure online store. We are unable to offer in-person viewing, collection or over-the-counter sales.

 

Our online store is hosted and operated through Shopify. Payments are processed using secure third-party payment providers made available through the Shopify platform.

 

3. Products

 

Pro Scoot Limited sells electric mobility scooters, accessories and spare parts. Product descriptions, specifications, images, colours and pricing are provided in good faith. We make every reasonable effort to display product colours, images and specifications accurately.

 

However, actual product colours, finishes and appearances may vary slightly due to screen settings, photography, manufacturer updates and other factors.

 

Manufacturers may make improvements, updates or specification changes to products without prior notice. Pro Scoot Limited reserves the right to supply products incorporating such manufacturer updates provided the product remains substantially equivalent to the product ordered.

 

4. Product Specifications and Performance

 

Published specifications, performance figures, speed estimates, range estimates, charging times and similar information are provided by manufacturers and are based on specific testing conditions. Actual performance may vary depending on rider weight, terrain, weather conditions, temperature, tyre pressure, riding style, battery condition, payload carried and other factors.

 

Pro Scoot Limited does not guarantee that individual users will achieve published performance figures.

 

5. Manufactured-to-Order Products

 

Our scooters are manufactured to order specifically for each customer.

 

Manufactured-to-order products are not held in stock and are produced following receipt and acceptance of an order.

 

Customers acknowledge that delivery times for manufactured-to-order products are longer than for stock items.

 

By placing an order, customers agree that their scooter will be manufactured specifically for them.

 

6. Ordering

 

Orders are subject to acceptance by Pro Scoot Limited.

 

An order confirmation email confirms receipt of your order but does not constitute acceptance.

 

We reserve the right to refuse, limit or cancel an order where:

 

• Payment cannot be authorised.

• Product availability changes.

• Pricing errors occur.

• Fraudulent activity is suspected.

• We are unable to fulfil the order.

• The order appears to have been placed incorrectly.

 

If an order is cancelled before production begins, any payment received will be refunded in full.

 

7. Pricing

 

All prices displayed on our website are in Pounds Sterling (GBP).

 

Pro Scoot Limited is not currently VAT registered and therefore no VAT is charged at the current time.

 

If Pro Scoot Limited becomes VAT registered in the future, pricing and documentation may be updated accordingly.

 

Whilst every effort is made to ensure pricing accuracy, errors may occasionally occur.

 

If a pricing error is identified after an order has been placed, Pro Scoot Limited reserves the right to cancel the order and provide a full refund before production or dispatch takes place.

 

Prices may be amended at any time without notice. Price changes will not affect orders that have already been accepted.

 

Delivery charges, where applicable, will be displayed at checkout before payment is completed.

 

8. Payment

 

Payment must be received in full before production, processing or dispatch of any order.

 

We accept payment methods displayed on our website at the time of purchase.

 

Ownership of goods remains with Pro Scoot Limited until payment has been received in full.

 

9. Delivery

 

Our scooters are manufactured to order.

 

The estimated delivery timeframe for scooters is typically between 40 and 50 days from order confirmation.

 

Delivery estimates are provided for guidance only and are not guaranteed delivery dates.

 

Delays may occur due to manufacturing schedules, customs clearance procedures, shipping delays, weather conditions, courier issues or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

 

 

Pro Scoot Limited shall not be liable for losses arising from delays beyond our reasonable control.

 

Delivery services are available throughout mainland United Kingdom and selected additional locations including:

 

• Northern Ireland

• Scottish Highlands and Islands

• Isle of Man

• Channel Islands

 

Additional delivery charges may apply depending on destination postcode.

 

10. Order Cancellation

 

Our scooters are manufactured to order specifically for each customer.

 

Orders may be cancelled and a full refund requested only before production of the scooter has commenced with the manufacturer.

 

Once production has started, the order cannot be cancelled.

 

Once a scooter has been dispatched by the manufacturer, shipping provider or courier, the order cannot be cancelled.

 

Customers wishing to cancel should contact Pro Scoot Limited immediately.

 

We will confirm whether production has commenced and whether cancellation remains possible.

 

11. Returns

 

Returns are subject to our Returns & Refunds Policy.

 

Customers must contact Pro Scoot Limited before returning any product.

 

Returns sent without prior authorisation may be refused.

 

Do not return any goods to our registered office address.

 

Returns sent to our registered office address will not be accepted and may be returned to the sender.

 

All returns must be approved by Pro Scoot Limited before being sent.

Once a return request has been approved, the appropriate returns address and return instructions will be provided.

 

Returned goods must be returned in accordance with our Returns & Refunds Policy.

 

12. Warranty

 

Warranty cover is provided in accordance with our Warranty Policy.

 

Warranty claims require supporting photographs and/or video evidence.

 

Where a valid warranty claim is approved, Pro Scoot Limited will normally provide replacement parts.

 

Customers are responsible for arranging the fitting of replacement parts where required.

 

Scooters must not be returned without prior authorisation.

 

13. Product Use and Legal Compliance

 

Customers are solely responsible for ensuring that any product purchased from Pro Scoot Limited is used lawfully.

 

Laws governing electric scooters and similar powered vehicles may vary depending on location and intended use.

 

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, licensing requirements and insurance requirements.

 

Pro Scoot Limited does not provide legal advice regarding the lawful use of products.

 

Certain products may be capable of modification or registration for specific uses subject to applicable laws, regulations and approval requirements.

 

Any such modifications, registrations, inspections, licensing, taxation, insurance requirements or legal compliance obligations remain entirely the responsibility of the customer.

 

Customers should obtain independent advice and confirm current legal requirements with the relevant authorities before using any product on public roads or in any regulated environment.

 

14. Private Land Use

 

Unless expressly stated otherwise, electric scooters and similar products sold by Pro Scoot Limited are intended for use on private land with the permission of the landowner.

 

Customers are responsible for determining where and how products may be lawfully used.

 

Pro Scoot Limited accepts no liability for unlawful use of any product.

 

15. Limitation of Liability

 

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits or excludes liability where such limitation or exclusion would be unlawful.

 

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pro Scoot Limited shall not be liable for:

 

• Indirect losses.

• Consequential losses.

• Loss of profits.

• Loss of business.

• Loss of opportunity.

• Delays caused by manufacturers, shipping providers or couriers.

 

Our total liability relating to any order shall not exceed the amount paid by the customer for the relevant product.

 

16. Force Majeure

 

Pro Scoot Limited shall not be responsible for any failure or delay in performing obligations where such delay or failure results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control including:

 

• Natural disasters.

• Floods.

• Fire.

• Industrial disputes.

• Supply chain disruption.

• Government restrictions.

• Shipping delays.

• Customs delays.

• Pandemic-related disruption.

 

17. Intellectual Property

 

All website content including text, logos, graphics, photographs, branding and design elements remain the property of Pro Scoot Limited or its licensors.

 

No content may be copied, reproduced or used without prior written permission.

 

18. Privacy

 

Use of our website is also governed by our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

 

19. Governing Law

 

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

 

Any disputes arising from these Terms & Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
